Liberty Dollar / Hawaii Dala Lawsuit Finally Filed
Posted on June 26, 2008 - Filed Under Living Free | Leave a Comment
More than seven months after the federal government raided the offices and warehouse of the Liberty Dollar organization (formerly known as NORFED), the much ballyhooed lawsuit has finally been filed … sort of. It took until June 9, 2008 for an actual formal request for the return of the materials to be made, and until June 17, 2008 for a lawsuit demanding the return of the items confiscated to be filed. Why did it take so long? Well according to Bernard…

While doing a little research for a recent article about coin counting machines I stumbled across a rather interesting post.
If you’re not familiar with coin counting machines you probably haven’t been paying much attention. They’re found in most chain grocery stores around the country (usually tucked right by the doors) as well as many other locations.
Although Coinstar is the most popular type there are other companies…

Is NetAudioAds / PayPerPlay Ads A Scam?
Posted on February 12, 2008 - Filed Under Earning Online | 7 Comments
By definition, yes, PayPerPlay is a scam-
American Heritage Dictionary
scam
n. A fraudulent business scheme; a swindle.
On their website for publishers (GetAudioAds.com) they promise that “Publishers (website owners) will earn revenue on 100% of their traffic…“. This is simply not true. Many publishers are reporting tens of thousands of hits without a single penny earned. Personally, I’ve only earned on less than .001% of my traffic. Their “official” blog (I’ll get to why official is in quotes shortly) actually came out yesterday and admitted that…

Can Yahoo And Adobe Trim eBook Scams?
Posted on December 1, 2007 - Filed Under Earning Online, Paid To Write, Technology | Leave a Comment
Stumbled across an interesting post over at Top 10 Tech Web Tips last week, titled Adobe And Yahoo Partner [To] End Scammy Ebook Deals-
Yahoo and Adobe have decided to work together to provide PDF documents that will run advertising within those PDF documents. This will enable publishers to receive advertising revenue through their virally circulated PDF documents. That is a significant advancement and could decrease publishers needs to sell those same PDF documents upfront.
Valid publishers with good contents won’t need…

Smorty Gets On My Bad Side

The other day I received the following email from Smorty (one of my “paid to write” companies)-
Hi,

Why The Liberty Dollar Class Action Suit Is A Non-Starter
Posted on November 16, 2007 - Filed Under Living Free | 13 Comments
I’ve been watching the Liberty Dollar for a couple of years now, but have only mentioned them here in passing because I never quite “got” it. If you don’t know what it is, I’m not really in a very good position to explain it to you other then it’s an alternative currency that is (supposedly) 100% backed by actual precious metal (silver and gold).
Well, their offices were raided earlier this week and all of the coins, silver and gold was confiscated…
