Attn: Posties - Make Sure Your Stats Are Accurate

Posted on October 12, 2007 - Filed Under Blogging, Paid To Write | Leave a Comment

As y’all know I’ve been a pretty happy member of PayPerPost for about 3 months now. (If you’re not sure what PayPerPost is, then check out my The King Of Paid To Blog Networks.) I’ve been happily plugging along writing sponsored posts for $5 a pop most of the time, getting excited about the occasional $7 or $10 post. Well, it looks like that’s about to change…

PayPerPost has had a problem with the Alexa rankings of blogs not properly updating in their system…

September Revenue Report

Posted on October 3, 2007 - Filed Under Blogging, GPT PTR PTC, Paid To Write | Leave a Comment

September was a pretty good month for my little online empire. Unlike most bloggers who give monthly earnings reports I’m not going to share what I “earned”, but only payments that I actually received this month. You can see my full PayPal proof of payment by clicking here. I do this because internet companies are notoriously prone to failure, and “get paid” sites are all the more so.

In total I received payments of $460.49 for blog posts, reviews, and PTR/PTC…

New Advertisers Coming On Board

It took more than a month, but the last two “paid to blog” companies I applied to finally got back to me. Well, technically, I never heard back from PayU2Blog never got back to me, but their site states that they only contact you if you’ve been accepted.

I registered for Blogsvertise on August 6th. Having not heard anything in over a month I dropped them an email over the weekend to question the situation. This morning I received a response stating…

Riding The Paid To Blog Wave Internationally

Posted on September 10, 2007 - Filed Under Blogging, Paid To Write | Leave a Comment

I joined Bloggerwave on August 12th, Philaahzophy was approved on August 13th, and I completed my first opportunity on August 14th. How’s that for getting right down to business? They paid me for that blog post on Saturday, September 8th. Not too bad.

I’ve only done three jobs for Bloggerwave thus far, but all three have been for $10 each, which is far above the average this PR0 gets from any other paid to blog company. They’re also the only paid to blog…

Smorty Has No Advertising, You Just Write Your Opinions

Posted on September 10, 2007 - Filed Under Blogging, Paid To Write | 2 Comments

The largest criticism leveled against those of us who get paid for blogging has been that we “can’t be honest” if we’re getting paid for it. Despite the patronizing and snobbish tone of such a statement, many people believe it. Well, at Smorty I have yet to see a paid blogging offer that required a positive tone. Every other get paid to blog company I’ve seen frequently has such opportunities in their marketplaces. Smorty advertisers are just looking for honest opinions, which is what blogging, paid or otherwise, is really supposed to be about.
