More than seven months after the federal government raided the offices and warehouse of the Liberty Dollar organization (formerly known as NORFED), the much ballyhooed lawsuit has finally been filed … sort of. According to Reuters, things are even worse in Israel-
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - An Israeli judge has ordered the country’s prison authority to pay an inmate over $1,000 in compensation after he complained of having to share a cell with cockroaches.
Mordechai Yehudai filed a lawsuit complaining of poor hygiene, a lack of fresh air, broken windows and inmates who smoke in a handful of cells, a spokeswoman for the Israel Prisons Service said

Kristin Wallace bought some very wet land as an investment. Eight acres of it, all underneath Lake Lynn.The Cary woman bought the land for $12,500 last year at a public auction of property with delinquent taxes. Now she is suing to try to force the city of Raleigh or Wake County to buy the soggy land from her or drain it.

I’ve been watching the Liberty Dollar for a couple of years now, but have only mentioned them here in passing because I never quite “got” it.
