Writing “The Great American Novel” is one of the most common dreams in America, isn’t it? When I first started getting interested in writing I frequently heard something along the lines of “everyone’s got at least one book in them”. Most people never take the plunge and actually write the book not because they don’t have any ideas, but because they can’t afford to take the risk of spending so much time and energy on a book that may never be read by anyone but friends.
