“I’ve concluded that genius is as common as dirt. We suppress our genius only because we haven’t yet figured out how to manage a population of educated men and women. The solution, I think, is simple and glorious. Let them manage themselves.” »» John Taylor Gatto

Posted on January 4, 2008 - Filed Under Travel | Leave a Comment

And, to top it all off, there’s no food in the house, which means I have ot go out into this brutish…

The area smokers can no longer light up could be getting even larger by next summer.

The City Council is calling it a compromise.

Discovering The Contained Ocean In Orlando

Posted on November 12, 2007 - Filed Under Travel | Leave a Comment

It seems Z wasn’t too excited about the Dominican Republic. Instead she was more excited about flying into Orlando a day or two early so we could visit Sea World’s exclusive Discovery Cove. This reservation only theme park is 100% designed around interaction with the marine life. Not only can you swim with dolphins (which is a pretty common thing these days, actually), but also snorkel alongside sharks and barracudas. Of course, there is a plexiglass barrier between you and…
