Looking Back On 100 PayPerPost Opportunities
Posted on November 13, 2007 - Filed Under Blogging, Paid To Write | Leave a Comment
Yesterday I wrote my 100th post through PayPerPost. I was hoping to save it for the announced name change to Izea, but apparently they weren’t excited enough about that change to offer a posting opportunity for it.
My first PPP opportunity was Trickle Down Poverty? written on July 16, 2007, though I couldn’t actually get it submitted to their system until July 31st as I was still going through the acceptance process. 100 posts in 104 days, not a bad average. My…

The English Need Payday Loans Too
Posted on November 10, 2007 - Filed Under Personal Finance, Reviews | Leave a Comment
I received an email last night (well, I guess it was actually morning his time) from a regular reader in the UK asking about my actual experiences with Payday Loans. It seems I regularly post that I’m considering (or am) taking one out, but seldom post the results. I’ll try to do better on that in the future. He also asked my advice on British Salary Advance companies (dontchya just love how the British use English differently than us yanks?).
I figure…

Looking For Freedom In The Financial Industry?
Posted on November 8, 2007 - Filed Under Business, Earning Offline | Leave a Comment
Working for someone else will never gain financial freedom. If you really want financial freedom you need to work for yourself. Of course, not everyone has the entrepreneurial spirit, and some people have spent locked into an industry in which it is near impossible to start a new firm given the current governmental and economic environment. But if you look hard enough, there are always options. For example, let’s say you work in the financial services field. Have you ever…

Flexible Funding For Small Businesses
Posted on November 6, 2007 - Filed Under Earning Offline | Leave a Comment
One of the most distinct advantages large businesses have over small businesses is easy access to large amounts of credit. Having the ready cash to make a key move or put out a fire can be the difference between success and failure. Merchant Funding, which has more than 20 years of experience with Small Business Loans, not only understands this, but is actively working to level the playing field for small businesses everywhere. Loan approval takes less than 24 hours…

Real Life ‘Shark’ Fights For You
Posted on November 2, 2007 - Filed Under Reviews | Leave a Comment
The CBS television show Shark has become one of my favorites. It features James Woods as a hot shot defense attorney who “changes sides” and starts working for the Los Angeles District Attorney. But if you’re being taken to court in Los Angeles you probably don’t want James Woods defending you and the last thing you need is some hot shot in the D.A.’s office. Luckily, there’s Kestenbaum, Eisner & Gorin, LLP out there to fight on your side. These…

Dream Concert Only 10 Weeks Away
Posted on September 16, 2007 - Filed Under Fatherhood, Shopping | Leave a Comment
Y’all know I’m not much of a music fan, but when Z called me this morning to ask permission to attend a Kelly Clarkson concert as part of a friend’s birthday party I couldn’t turn her down. When I was 8 years old my mother refused to give permission for my father to take me to see a concert in Los Angeles - Pink Floyd’s The Wall. I can only imagine how different my life would have been had I…
