Rover Passed His Test - Now For His Reward

As I’ve mentioned, Rover (my beloved 1989 Ford Bronco) passed his smog check today. Given his age, the fact I’m not remotely a mechanic, and that he’s classified by the DMV as having a “High Emitter Profile” I seriously had my doubts. Z, on the other hand, had complete faith. Yep, It’s Christmas

Another Christmas successfully concluded. Well, for me at least. See, Z’s Christmas tradition is to spend the day with family friends at their Christmas and that just doesn’t seem right to me, so I spend most of Christmas Day alone. I’m not really sure there’s anything I can add, but I just had to share this story from Reuters-
SPOKANE, Washington (Reuters) - A cow plunged from a 200-foot (61-metre) cliff onto the hood of a minivan on a highway in central Washington state, according to police.
The car’s occupants, Charles and Linda Everson, were not hurt in Sunday’s accident, but the cow was euthanized at the scene.
