Firefox Split Browser Extension Means No More Tabs When Blogging
Posted on August 18, 2008 - Filed Under Blogging, Technology | 1 Comment
Do you have multiple tabs (or even worse, browser windows) open when you’re writing a blog post? I sure do. One has the post I’m writing, another (and possiblya 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th) have the source or reference article(s). Although I’ve been blogging with WordPress for a couple of years now I still have issues with getting all of the images and other graphic elements to layout properly at times. Thus, I’m constantly using the “preview” feature to keep an…
My Daughter The Pro Blogger

As parents, there are millions of things we want to teach our children in a relatively short period of time. As a divorced father who missed the first 9 years of his daughters life there are just as many things, but a much more compressed time frame. Not only have I missed many, many years all together, but even the time I have is limited by visitation. So it amazes me a bit that it took me so long to…

Ted Murphy, founder and CEO of IZEA (parent company of paid blogging companies PayPerPost and SocialSpark) despises Google PageRank so much that his company created a competing website metric system called RealRank. But I’ll allow him to speak for himself…

At first I figured they were just spam, but there was no url left either. Hence, no spammy benefit.
A Google search turned up a dozen or so other people that have asked this question over the…

Always on the lookout for new marketing tools and new revenue streams for my various blogs and websites I recently came across a post by Jim at The Net Fool, where he referred to advertising broker Project Wonderful in some interesting terms: “If AdSense and eBay got into a bad car wreck, the result would be Project Wonderful
.” I’m still not really sure what that means, exactly, but I sure do like the imagery!
You can check out their site or Jim’s…
SocialSpark Still Has Some Serious Bugs To Work Out
Posted on July 9, 2008 - Filed Under Blogging, Paid To Write | Leave a Comment
SocialSpark, the latest paid to blog service from Izea, still has some pretty serious bugs to work out. After writing more than 40 posts for them in the first six weeks they were open I’ve been away from the site for over a month. Upon returning today I found little has changed. While this would normally be a good thing, SocialSpark is still in Beta and hasn’t worked out the vast majority of the flaws that I, and many other…
