Astute readers will have noticed by now the new banner that appears some times in my sidebar to the right. I’ve been writing about VistaPrint for a couple of years now (just click their tag below to bring up my previous posts about them), and using them for all of my custom printing needs just as long. This is truly a great company, and they just keep getting better. While on their site to order some new Holiday Photo Cards for me and Z, I noticed they’ve now got a wholesale printing reseller program that essentially allows you to become a print broker for your local businesses.
This is the perfect blend of an online and offline earning opportunity. Not only could you build a website to offer VistaPrint’s full line of custom printed materials under your own brand name (hmmm… easychoiceprinting.com is currently unregistered), but this you could easily reach out to the local businesses in your area as well. I’ve been using VistaPrint because their prices, even with shipping, already undercut my local print print shops. With their new resller program you would get an additional 25% off of your orders, plus discounted shipping. Add in the benefit to your local business customers of having their own sales rep (that’s you) who visits their shop directly and buying from VistaPrint (through you) is really a no-brainer for them. The fact that all of the packing and mailing supplies will be unbranded assures your clients stick with you, instead of going straight to the source) for reorders as well!
But you don’t even have to limit yourself to other businesses. Sure, your friends and family probably don’t need professional letterhead, business cards, or car door magnets, but what about rubber stams (for return addresses), custom calendars, invitations, or even personalized stationary. This type of micro-business allows you to set your own hours and work from home while still providing the quality materials, great customer service and low prices that VistaPrint is famous for.

Just came across your post. I found it informative for me and I’m sure many others. I did also have small trouble subscribing to the blog but figured it out; I’m still a 2-finger typist
. Thank you and keep your blogging spirit going strong.
