Okay, so I didn’t reach my goal weight of 200 pounds before I went on vacation to Myrtle Beach. But The good news is that I was still able to ride everything at Hard Rock Park and that’s what really matters. When I weighed myself upon my return late Saturday night I had bounced back up to 241. But considering I didn’t worry about what I was eating at all while I was gone I’m still pretty pleased with that. We did walk a lot while we were there, so I’m sure that helped quite a bit. Besides, when I set up my long term goals last November I gave myself until June to reach 200.
Still behind schedule, but I am back down to 234 tonight and, the new shorts I bought in Myrtle Beach have a 36 inch waist and fit me just fine. Considering the pants I threw away when I bought the pants had a 40 inch waist I’d say that’s some pretty damn good progress.
As of today, I’m back on my Subway Diet. I didn’t walk down there because of the massive heat wave we’re having, but I did eat my $5 footlong today. It actually felt good to have those fresh veggies once again.

Any updates on the weight loss? Sounds like you set a pretty lofty goal. I find that most people including myself do better setting several small goals. Just a thought. Good job on your progress!
You’ll reach your goal weight - just give it time. Not worth rushing anyways. The fact that you accomplished what you consider to be a more important goal is what really matters.
Thanks for the post, and best of luck!
