Is your shower shrinking? Do you feel like this guy?
shower curtain attack
According to MoreShowerSpace.com 47% of shower curtains get “clingy”, effectively reducing the amount of space you have while showering. According to Z, my roommate and myself, our shower curtain is the “King of Cling”, acting up 89% of the time or more. Not a big problem for Z, but my roommate and I are both 6′+ and take up a fair amount of space. Add in the fact that my roommate…

Part of the Riddles and Puzzles Series -         Next in series

Picked up Z from school today and was immediately presented with a riddle that Ms. Falconer (her favorite teacher and mine) offered up to the class today. Anyone who solves the riddle will receive an in class reward. I believe I can figure it out, but we’re on our way out the door to see The Wizard of Oz at the local drive-in so I’m reaching out for help from…

Moving Forward With My Weight Loss Goals

Thirteen days to my weight loss deadline and I’ve been cracking down rather successfully. Last week I reported that I’d bounced back up to 242 pounds, well I’m proud to report that I’ve not only regained my footing, but moved even further into territory that hasn’t been explored in a few years: 235 pounds! WooHoo! That’s a net weight loss of 15 pounds since last fall when I set my goal. I’m behind schedule, but feel I’ve learned a lot…

Ron Paul On Tuesday nearly 130,000 people voted for Dr. Ron Paul in the Pennsylvania Presidential Primary. That was 16% of the Republicans voting in the primary, and approximately 1.5% of the registered voters in the state. The reasons Paul’s results were so high (or so low) have been analyzed all over the media and blogosphere over the last couple of days, so I will leave that to them. I’m too busy looking for a way to actually win freedom to worry…

Rover Passed His Test - Now For His Reward

As I’ve mentioned, Rover (my beloved 1989 Ford Bronco) passed his smog check today. Given his age, the fact I’m not remotely a mechanic, and that he’s classified by the DMV as having a “High Emitter Profile” I seriously had my doubts. Z, on the other hand, had complete faith. Now that we know Rover won’t be stolen away by the government for the next two years we need to decide on his reward. Since Z is responsible for customization…

footloose

These dances and this kind of music can be destructive, and, uh, Ren, I’m afraid you’re going to find most of the people in our community are gonna agree with me on this.

-Reverend Shaw Moore, Footloose

Yeah, I just quoted Footloose, what’s it to you? The fact of the matter is I haven’t been able to get the film oput of my head since seeing this video on YouTube-
