These dances and this kind of music can be destructive, and, uh, Ren, I’m afraid you’re going to find most of the people in our community are gonna agree with me on this.

Yeah, I just quoted Footloose, what’s it to you? The fact of the matter is I haven’t been able to get the film oput of my head since seeing this video on YouTube-

That was shot at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C., on Thomas Jefferson’s birthday - April 12th. It seems a local flash mob decided to celebrate the founding father’s birthday by having a small dance party. It also seems that despite the fact that this was the middle of the night when the Memorial was nearly deserted and the fact that since all the dancers wore headphones thus creating absolutely zero noise the local SS, er, Park Police decided that this was verbotten and arrested one of the dancers.
