Philaahzophy has now been around for roughly a year as a stand alone website. But the search engines don’t really seem to be directing many people my way, so I’ve been teaching myself a little bit more about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) each week, in an attempt to get their attention and show up better on SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages). Self-education is always a slow process, but it’s particularly difficult with SEO as the “right” thing to do is constantly changing as varius search engines explore different models and refine their own search capabilities.
So I’ve turned to the SEO Help forums for further advice and education. SEO help is kind of an online water cooler where those with experience in SEO can share their wisdom with those just learning the this arcane art, and people can share their latest discoveries and the results of their experiments. Not only is it a discussion forum, but the users there will also provide a free SEO audit and analysis to anyone who requests one in their site reviews forums.

Hi =)
Nice blog!
There is a great Squidoo lens on this very topic that might interest you. Very complete info about SEO for blogs:

Hope that helps!

This is going to sound like a blatant plug but….. If your site is getting quickly indexed by Google but people are not searching for the terms that your posts include then you need to start working out what keywords are being searched so you could use them as post titles.
I have been using Micro Niche Finder to quite good effect (I am still learning too). I wrote a post about what I have done here.

If you are not ready to pay for a program then you can look into various free keyword finder services but I find them not as good for convenience and getting exactly what you want.

Hey Forest!
Even blatant plugs are welcome as long as they’re on-topic and useful. Yours is both! I’ll definitely be checking into Micro Niche Finder in the near future.
BTW, you might want to check out my post on CommentLuv and FeedBurner. You’re losing a little link love yourself at the moment
