My articles on gift cards seem to be pretty popular, but this one’s a little bit different. Thanks to Gift Card Lab anyone can now add their own custom image to a Visa gift card for only $5.95! So, next time someone on your gift list asks for a gift card (or you simply can’t decide what to get them) you can now send them a gift card with your picture on it so they never forget who supplied the gift. As cool as that is for your average consumer, the real market for Gift Card Lab’s services is the small business.
Until now a business would have to order 1,000 or more gift cards in order to have their own logo printed on the card. With Gift Card Lab even small (and micro) businesses can pass out employee rewards or holiday bonuses in the form of branded Visa gift cards. Remember that one of the largest hurdles small businesses face is projecting a professional image. Your own branded Visa gift card can go a long way to projecting the professional image your clients are seeking.
Another great use of Gift Card Lab’s services just occurred to me as I was typing this: blog contest prizes! A lot of blog contests are nowgiving Visa Gift Cards (of varying amounts) as prizes. How cool would it be for the gift card to arrive fully branded with your URL and logo preprinted right on the card? Very cool indeed.
