If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the host of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well. »» Martin Luther King, Jr.

Who’s Screwing Whom?

Posted on December 10, 2007 - Filed Under Living Free, Police | 1 Comment

Dual confession time:

  1. I have no idea if I used “whom” correctly in the title. It sounds better to me, but if you know the rules for “whom”, please comment and let me know for future reference.
  2. Despite understanding anarchy innately at a young age I spent many, many years in liberal circles and was often swayed by their views.

It’s the second confession that’s the most salient to this post. One of the things one most hears from liberals in their daily…

Is Your GPT Site Lying To You?

If you’ve been in the Get Paid To world for more than a few months your answer should certainly be: probably. As my regular readers know I’m not much of a fan of Get Paid To Sign Up sites for a number of reasons. My primary reason is that I understand the other side of the GPT equation. However, I know many of you are devotees of the GPT world, so I’m still happy to bring you the latest news…

All This Work Finally Pays Off

For the last few months I’ve been billing around 550 hours per month at my day job. As a in-home caregiver I don’t get overtime pay, nor am I limited to a 40 hour work week. Despite the bad taste my blogging about my personal experiences with Bad Credit Loans has left in some…

More Wonderful Wedding Advice For Men

Received a great email (and invitation) from a male reader whose blushing bride has been researching Chicago Weddings behind his back. Here this guy was just cruising along, thinking everything was great in the long term engagement he’d entered into a few months earlier. He was exceedingly thankful for the article from the 1Weddingsource wedding directory that I wrote about a couple of weeks ago. In addition to their excellent article on how grooms can be more involved in the wedding…

Has it Really Been A Whole Week?

Posted on December 10, 2007 - Filed Under Aahz | Leave a Comment

I came into my Wordpress dashboard to start posting this morning and suddenly realized it had been a full week since I last posted! it surely doesn’t feel like a week has passed, but I guess time does fly when you’re having fun. I actually mentioned the reason for my absence in passing, but didn’t realize I’d be gone so long. The primary motivator was a result of my personal Christmas present. In hunting for excellent Black Friday deals (none…
