Received a great email (and invitation) from a male reader whose blushing bride has been researching Chicago Weddings behind his back. Here this guy was just cruising along, thinking everything was great in the long term engagement he’d entered into a few months earlier. He was exceedingly thankful for the article from the 1Weddingsource wedding directory that I wrote about a couple of weeks ago. In addition to their excellent article on how grooms can be more involved in the wedding planning, he found some great advice in their Things to Discuss with your Wedding DJ article. This is a typically male wedding responsibility, but that doesn’t mean that every guy is ready, willing or able to choose a disc jockey that’s going to not only satisfy both the bride and groom, but not offend the senior guests either.
Aside from the excellent articles available at the Chicago Wedding Marketplace he was also able to find four DJ & music services that essentially act as booking agents for multiple disc jockeys, bands and musicians. Having access to this information at the very same place his fiance was researching florists, caterers, chapels and valet services actually gave his bride-to-be the confidence to allow him to search for and hire a photographer and officiant as well. Congratulations to the happy couple on their pending nuptials and to my loyal reader for his increased opportunity to participate in the most important day in of his life. I love hearing that my meager postings have real world benefits!
