I came into my Wordpress dashboard to start posting this morning and suddenly realized it had been a full week since I last posted! it surely doesn’t feel like a week has passed, but I guess time does fly when you’re having fun. I actually mentioned the reason for my absence in passing, but didn’t realize I’d be gone so long. The primary motivator was a result of my personal Christmas present. In hunting for excellent Black Friday deals (none of which were to be found on electronics this year) I ended up purchasing myself a “new” computer from eBay. Well, both the monitor and the computer arrived on Monday. The only thing missing was the cables for the KVM box. Those would allow me to operate both computers from the same Keyboard, Video monitor, and Mouse. Without the cables I had to have both complete computers set up at the same time and I have very limited desk space. So, aside from the computer(s) working on transferring around 500GB of data and installing (and re-installing) programs, my work area was completely overwhelmed. It took me most of the week to get the computers set up and operating appropriately and then the weekend was occupied with Z’s work. But more on that later…. For now, I’ll just apologize for my absence and get back to work.
