Sorry, I find it difficult to resist Blue Oyster Cult references, no matter how cheesy ![]()

Apparently, the Stopzilla popup blocker has been around for years. In fact it was even the answer on a 2006 episode of Jeopardy: “STOPzilla is software to stop these from constantly appearing on your computer screen.” Nevertheless I don’t recall hearing about them prior to today.
Although Firefox does a pretty good job of stopping pop ups I haven’t been impressed with Internet Explorer’s ability to do so since I removed the Google toolbar. So I’ve been out looking for some third party software and Shopzilla is next on my list to investigate.
