Great New Tip For Getting Referrals

The bulk of online earning opportunities have far less to do with how much you work the program, and far more to do with how well you can recruit referrals. Of course, since the more people that you get to join the program the more competition you have for more referrals this is always a challenge. But I recently came across a great new way to use an old tool to make recruiting just a little bit easier. Unfortunately I can’t claim credit for the idea. It was pointed out to me by NatBooty, who led me to Mr. GPT who apparently came across the idea in his own forums-

Sign up for any free email account, I personally recommend Gmail, and once you have your account setup, go find the “Vacation Responder” or “Autoresponder”. With Gmail, simply navigate to “Settings” and scroll down “Vacation Responder”. From there, you can just type your own subject and content of message. I recommend starting out with something like “Thanks for your interest in making money online! I am part of a site called …”. It’s as easy as that!

I’ve used email autoresponders for many different projects in the past, but never considered doing so as a means for getting referrals. It’s perfect, because you’ve already managed to get their attention and can give as much or as little further information as you like.

Thanks so much for plug! I’m glad you checked out MrGPT/Drew’s (I’m 99% sure that his name….) site, I discovered it a couple of months ago and I’m so impressed by how far it’s come, he’s inspiring!

I’ve been offline for about 2 weeks, so I haven’t been able to keep up on reading, blogging, or earning- that’s why it’s taken me so long to thank you!

You’ve mentioned before that lots of people read your blog for different reasons- I discovered it while browsing finance blogs, but I’ve found your more political/anarchy oriented posts to be very interesting and informative! I tend to lean a little more to the left, but you’ve made me question my stance on different issues, and I thank you for that!

Do you think that blogging about various topics on one blog (as opposed to numerous “niche” blogs) has worked out for you? I’m thinking about writing about my own bleeding-heart-liberal-feminist-tree-hugging-atheist opinions over at NatBooty.

Wow, I’ve written a novel. Sorry about that. Have a great day!
