Winter’s The Time To Replace That Old Refrigerator

It makes sense once you think about it, but how often do you really think about it… Summer is the height of the refrigerator sales season. Hotter temperatures means refrigerators have to work that much harder to keep their contents cool and that means more stress on compressors and other parts. Which means more breakdowns and ridiculously high repair bills. Basic market economics shows us that when demand increases (like when everyone’s refrigerator is dying due to heat exhaustion) prices go up as well. Inversely when demand is low (because the old compressors don’t work as hard in the winter months) prices come down.

Of course, if you’re going to preemptively replace that old fridge then you still want the absolutely best deal. That’s where Krillion comes in. Let’s use Amana Refrigerators as an example. Krillion lists 69 different models, and once I enter my zip code they show that there are 39 different models available at local stores within 25 miles of me. This way I can compare features and styles in the very same place that I find the best prices in my local area. It’s that local info that makes Krillion the superior comparison shopping site for researching big ticket, heavy items.
