As y’all may suspect, I did not win a chance to purchase tickets to the most highly anticipated concert of the century: Ahmet Ertegun Tribute at O2 in London featuring Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings, Pete Townshend, Paolo Nutini, Foreigner and a little band called Led Zeppelin. Nor am I going to be able to pay the $1,200 to $7,500 per ticket price that these babies are going for from scalpers. But that doesn’t I (or you for that matter) can’t still participate in the biggest event in recent rock history. After all, it’s more than just the biggest rock reunion ever it’s also a memorial to the founder of Atlantic Records. I, for one, will be participating in the event from home honoring Mr Ertegun with a wonderful boquet sent to the venue. Thanks to the power of the internet (in general) and Flora2000 (in particular) it’s now a simple matter of a few clicks to send flowers or gift baskets just about anywhere in the world. And when I asy “the world” I mean it! They deliver not just to the US, and Europe, but to more than 150 countries including the likes of Pakistan, Malaysia, Azerbaijan and even Zimbabwe!
