The folks over at MakeoverSolutions seem to be aware of the metrosexual movement since they have a full range of options for male makeovers, but that awareness doesn’t seem to have extended beyond their excellent virtual makeover application as that’s pretty much the only place I was able to find a male place on the site. It was still a blast to play with, though.
Step one is to upload a headshot (or mug shot) of yourself to act as a base for their software. Then you’re presented with literally hundreds of options to see what you’d look like with one small change or an entire makeover. The various combinations mean that there are literally millions of looks that can be developed on their site.
The great thing about this makeover is that not only can you change all the basics like hairstyle, facial hair, and even colored contacts, but they’ve integrated name brand products into their options as well. This allowed me to shop for new eyeglass frames and actually see what they’d look like on me before I bought them. With my bad eyes this has always been a serious problem for me. The only way I can get a clear image of my reflection is to move my face within inches of the mirror and that’s not really conducive to determining my overall look.
