Progress reports came out last week, and now that Z’s in middle school she’s actually getting letter grades. WooHoo!! Something I can actually relate to! Alas, not all was to be celebrated. She ended up with a B in math. I had spoken to her math/science teacher, Ms. Falconer, about her frustrations with math and she’s been giving Z a little extra attention in that area, but she’s still struggling. So, once again, we’re looking into Math Tutors. It’s not that she can’t fdo the work, or that a B is a terible grade. It’s just that she’s resistant to mathematics for some reason. Perhaps the tutoring systems at Score can help.
