With the combination of my financial crisis and her mother’s new baby being due in late October we had decided that Z would not be attending. Well, something changed over the weekend. I’m not sure what, but I’ve learned not to question when my X makes a decision I agree with. From the site-

All I need to do is snap a shot of my little angel sleeping, have it…

It’s 10:35 on Sunday night. This is the time that I’m typically blogging about my adventures with Z over the weekend. Alas, there were no adventures this weekend. Luckily, I got some bonus time with her mid-week, but nothing makes up for missing our Saturday morning breakfast ritual.

I was scheduled to have her both Saturday and Sunday, but she got sick on Thursday afternoon. When she’s sick she only wants to be with her mother. I know this is my…

The Stevens Construction Institute has requested that I help spread the news about Matt Stevens’ new book Managing a Construction Firm on Just 24 Hours a Day, which has got to be the best title for a business book (never mind a construction book), in history. If you’re already sold (as I was by the title alone), then simply follow this Link to Book Reviews and Ordering Information. For those who are still with me, I’ll go on…
