With time to kill between the carpet cleaners finishing this afternoon and the film beginning, my client and I headed to the local big box store for some window shopping. He’s a game show junkie and I’d recently asked him what he’d buy if he won $10,000 on a game show. it took some thought (all of his living expenses and needs are covered by his disability income), but he settled rather firmly on a new Plasma WideScreen TV. So we went to check ‘em out today, not that he’s got the cash, and it turns out he’d have plenty left over after the purchase.
Of course, just walking into a big box store blind is no way to make such a purchase. Flat panel televisions are a $15.6 billion dollar business annually and no small expense for even the upper classes. So, most people head to the web for their information before ever setting foot in the store. We were checking out a sweet hitachi HDTV plasma flat screen, so I looked it up on krillion.com when we returned home. If you’ve never visited Krillion, then I certainly hope you haven;t made any major purchases lately, because you may have made some mistakes. Not only do they give you full details and stats for flat panel televisions (and other major home purchases), but they’ll let you browse the selection of all your local stores as well.
