I Almost Forgot About The Memory Walk

With all the crap that’s been happening in my life the last few days I almost forgot about the Memory Walk for Alzheimer’s. Luckily, Carla over at My Little Tribe reminded me. But this wasn’t just any reminder, it was a Memory Walk contest reminder.

It seems that her Little Tribe will be walking in their local Memory Walk and have decided that a blog contest is a great way to generate sponsors. Brilliant idea! The best thing about this contest is that it’s helping a great cause. But the second best thing about it is that you get to pick your own prize-

The lucky winner will be able to choose one prize between the following three options: an Apple iPod Shuffle (you choose your favorite color!) , a FIFTY DOLLAR gift certificate to spend any way you wish at Amazon.com or, because so many fiber friends read here, a FIFTY DOLLAR gift certificate to spend any way you wish at The Loopy Ewe, my absolute favorite online yarn store.

I’m still struggling for sponsors myself, so no entries for me their, but with Z and I walking in a few weeks, the $50 Amazon.com prize would certainly be transferred over as a donation in the Tribe’s name.
