The Postie Carnival was posted today over at My Thoughts And Ramblings. on the theme of “What I Did Over My Summer Vacation”. Well, as y’all know, my summer sucked. So instead of submitting one of the depressing pieces from this summer, I sent in Seven Miles From Gorda. That was the trip that really helped create the bond that Z and I have today, so no matter what happens in any future summer, nothing will ever top “the best weekend ever”. It was great being able to share that story with my fellow posties through the carnival and I highly recoemmend you visit and check out everyone else’s activities as well.
