Clocks That Turn Back Time

My grandfather always kept mantel clocks in every room of his house. But my favorite perched on the top of his amazing roll-top desk and looked a lot like this-

My apartment has the perfect spot for a mantle clock, but I have been unable to find one that matches my roommate’s modern furniture. Until now, that is, as I was just led to 1-800-4clocks where I came across this stunning update of my grandfather’s clock-

I absolutely love this clock. It’s simple yet elegant, matches a modern decor yet still provides that nostalgic throwback to the clocks my grandfather collected over many years. The silver-plated dial, decorated with a milled rhombus pattern and the hand-made glass combine to highlight the outstanding quality of the materials and the craftsmanship of this masterpiece. It’s already been added to my Christmas wish list, but I may not have to wait that long after all.While perusing their blog I discovered that they are considering holding a contest. For some reason they’re considering giving away an iPhone, but I say that’s beyond passé already. They need to stick to what they do best - these gorgeous (yet functional) works of art.
