Time For A New Digital Camera

When Z came back into my life 2 years ago I went out and bought a digital camera. Never much of a picture taker or keeper, this seemed like the time to reverse that trend. Now my walls are covered with snapshots of my little girl. Unfortunately, when I look over these pictures I often think of the shots that aren’t there, but would be had I purchased a good camera instead of the weak one that I bought instead. This is not a mistake I will make again.
First (and only, ATM) item on my Christmas Wish List - a Nikon D300 Professional Digital SLR Camera. Okay, it doesn’t need to be that camera exactly, but definitely something along those lines. The main reason I was never much of a photo person was that I always ended up with random rolls of film laying around that I couldn’t afford to have developed. Digital has, of course, changed all of that. Now I’m out of excuses.
My focus with my daughter has been on creating memories, rather than on physical objects. We seek adventures, large and small, whenever possible. But photographs help solidify those memories, not to mention making it so much easier to share them with others
