Best Buys Comparison Reviews is a new service that offers “head to head” comparisons of major online stores and services. This is exactly the type of service that makes things like market anarchy possible, allowing individual consumers to gather the real information they need to make the best decisions on how to spend their hard earned cash.
No more flipping back and forth between two sites (or multiple pages within those sites) in order to determine which is the best value for you. Let’s take a look at their comparison of DirecTV vs. Dish Network. Clicking over to this comparison brings us to a cleanly formatted table compares the two services side-by-side in 10 categories: current promotion, packages & pricing, pros, cons, activation fees, HD programming, DVR, additional TVs, Best Buys Choice, and a link to sign up. Obviously, this table will be slightly different depending on the services being compared. The table is followed by a cogent editorial review of different aspects of each service, links to numerous other comparison sites for these services, and an option to provide feedback on which service you currently use. If I were to design a head-to-head comparison site I’m not sure what else I’d feel the need to include.
