The Rich Jerk, aka Kelly Felix, aka CreditPro, Inc. (CPI), is being advertised everywhere these days. In fact they’re probably on this site as you read this! I must see his ads 80-100 times per day. So I finally broke down and got a copy of his book. It’s definitely one of the cleaner eBooks out there as far as readability goes. However, he certainly fulfills his “promise” of being ‘arrogant’ and ‘foul-mouthed’, and his abrasive nature may not be for everyone.
But this isn’t actually about the Rich Jerk himself. Rather, it’s about the concepts he shares. Are they worth $197? Not in my opinion. How about $49.95? Maybe if you’re already making $100,000 a year, but not if you’re an average working stiff. But surely it’s worth the current price of $14.95, isn’t it? That may be less than the cost of seeing a movie, but I think I’d rather see Transformers or Harry Potter than pay for the info in this book. And I think you should as well, so here’s what I’m going to do about it…
I’m going to share the steps and details of the Rich Jerk, for free, right here at Philaahzophy. The Rich Jerk: Making Money On the Internet consists of 64 pages covering 9 chapters. Far too long to repost in its entirety here. It is also, of course, protected by copyright law. Fortunately, the law is actually on the side of freedom in this case:
Section 102 of the copyright law, title 17, United States Code, clearly expresses this principle: “In no case does copyright protection for an original work of authorship extend to any idea, procedure, process, system, method of operation, concept, principle, or discovery, regardless of the form in which it is described, explained, illustrated, or embodied in such work.”
-From the U.S. Copyright Office – Circular 31
So what I’ll be doing is more of an extended review of the Rich Jerk’s procedures. Every few days (at least once a week), I’ll post the details from another chapter. I’ll do my best to keep my opinions out of it and just present the steps he suggests you follow. I’ll also be skipping the basics (if you don’t know what an adsense, adwords, or an affiliate program is, there are plenty of places to learn for free. Additionally, I’ll be skipping the examples for brevity and the attitude and profanity for the sake of decorum.
If you feel this is a worthwhile effort then simply comment to let me know and I may do the same with other famous (or infamous) eBooks in the future as well.
